R. Henry Construction is a longstanding company that has been in operation since the mid 1990’s. The company is owned by Rich Weyhe, Tim Paulsen, Rob Paulsen, and Troy Bramer. All owners are active full time in the business on a daily basis. We have a very experienced staff of project managers, drafting and design specialists, interior designers, site supervisors, as well as framing, siding, and interior millwork crews.

 

PRINCIPALS 

RICH WEYHE
Principle, President

Experience: 12 years
Education: B.S. in Business Admin & Finance, Minnesota State University Mankato
Responsibilities: Strategic Planning, Business and Land Development, Marketing and Sales, and Residential New Construction.

Fact: Rich worked in the Banking/Finance industry for 15 years before forming R. Henry Construction.

What do you enjoy most? "Helping to create an innovative business that cares about our employees & supports their growth while providing a unique & high quality experience for our clientele & community."

 

TIM PAULSEN
Principle, Project Manager

Experience: 25 years
Responsibilities: Project Management, Scheduling, Estimating, Sales, and Customer Service.

Fact: Tim's construction knowledge is wide ranging and he is always working to create the best product possible.

What do you enjoy most? "Completing a project that an owner has been dreaming of."

 

 

ROB PAULSEN
Principle, Carpenter, Project Manager

Experience: 20 years
Responsibilities: Oversee Trim Work and Built-ins, and Project Management.

Fact: Rob is a certified Marvin Window Installer and specializes in interior finishes and custom millwork suchas fireplaces, lockers, and bookshelves.

What do you enjoy most? "The customer's excitement when the project is complete and that it is something they are proud of and love to show others."

 

TROY BRAMER
Principle, Foreman

Experience: 28 years
Responsibilities: Site Supervision, Framing, and Carpentry.

Fact: Troy is a certified Marvin Window and Door Installer as well as a jobsite supervisor and framing specialist.

What do you enjoy most? "Seeing a completed project and a happy customer."

 

 
 

PROJECT MANAGERS

AARON SCHMILLEN
Project Manager

Experience: 13 years
Education: B.S. in Construction Management, Minnesota State University Mankato
Responsibilities: Project Management, Estimating, Sales, and Customer Service.

Fact: Aaron has wide ranging construction industry experience and has worked on jobs that have taken him from Denver, to Daytona Beach, to Baltimore, to the Bronx, and back again.

What do you enjoy most? "Creating homes for our customers, not just a house. The smile on a customer's face when you are complete with the job says it all."

 

MIKE ROLL
Project Manager

Experience: 10 years
Responsibilities: Project Management, Estimating, Sales, and Customer Service.

Fact: Mike is the president of the Crystal Waters Project and was awarded 2015 Blue Earth County Conservationist of the year.

What do you enjoy most? "Making sure customers are completely satisfied with R. Henry's product."

 

 

RUSS KRAL, AC
Project Manager

Experience: 2 years
Education: B.S. in Construction Management, Minnesota State University Mankato
Responsibilities: Project Management, Estimating, Sales, Customer Service, and Assistant Office Manager.

Fact: Russ is a certified Associate Constructor (AC) and has completed 30 hours of OSHA training.

What do you enjoy most? "Learning from other project managers/carpenters how/why things are done and learning from industry magazines how others in the construction industry are doing things."

 

JOE MONTAG
Project Manager

Experience: 9 years
Education: B.S. in Construction Management, Minnesota State University Mankato
Responsibilities: Project Management, Estimating, Sales, and Customer Service.

Fact: Joe holds 10 hours of OSHA training and has previously traveled the Midwest working in commercial/industrial construction.

What do you enjoy most? "Helping homeowners/customers achieve their goals."

 

JEFF SCHULTZ
Project Manager

Experience: 26 years
Responsibilities: Project Management, Estimating, Sales, and Customer Service.

Fact: Jeff carries a wealth of knowledge in multiple areas of construction with specialized training in concrete construction and ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms).

What do you enjoy most? "Collaboration."

 
 

DRAFTING AND DESIGN 

JEFF JOHNSON
Lead Draftsman

Experience: 37 years
Education: B.F.A. in Studio Art, Minnesota State University Mankato
Responsibilities: Produce Construction Drawings/Documentation, Create 3D Models of Homes/Projects.

Fact: Jeff owned his own residential construction company, "J.F. Johnson Construction", and was also a realtor for 24 years.

What do you enjoy most? "Making and designing interesting spaces that fit people's different lifestyles. I try to match their dreams with a space they would want to live in."

 

KAILEE HELGET, AKBD
Drafting and Design Specialist

Experience: 2 years
Education: A.A.S. in Interior Design, Dakota County Technical College
Responsibilities: Create Floor Plans and 3D Renderings, Kitchen and Bath Design, Interior Design, Estimating, Photography, Sales, and Marketing.

Fact: Kailee is a Certified Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer (AKBD). One of her kitchen renderings is a 2020 Design™ National Award Winner.

What do you enjoy most? "Working to ensure each space provides functionality as well as fits the client's individual needs - making for a successful project and a satisfied homeowner."

 

ANN HAMMAN
Drafting Specialist

Experience: 28 years
Education: Certificate in Architectural Drafting, South Central College
Responsibilities: Produce Construction Drawings for New Home Construction, Remodels, and Additions.

Fact: One of Ann's home designs was chosen for the Mankato Dream Home fall tour.

What do you enjoy most? "Working in a team environment to create perfect homes for our customers. It is rewarding to hear the customer say they love their new home."

 
 

OFFICE MANAGER

LISSA MEYER
Office Manager, Bookkeeper

Experience: 23 years
Responsibilities: Run the Office Professionally, Bookkeeping, and Billing.

Fact: Lissa is a member of the MN Valley Sweet Adeline's chorus. Lissa is extremely organized and has the capability of taking on countless tasks around the office and will always greet you with a smile.

What do you enjoy most? "Meeting new people as individuals and seeing their dreams come true with the help of R. Henry."

 
 

FIELD LABOR 

BRAD STINOCHER
Carpenter

Experience: 18 years
Education: B.S. in Business Administration
Responsibilities: Site Supervision and Exterior Carpentry.

Fact: Brad has extensive training and experience in many areas of construction. Additionally, he is a certified Marvin Window Installer. Brad is a long time reliable R. Henry Construction Employee with seniority among the field crew.

What do you enjoy most? "Being able to work outside and happy customers."

 

PAUL BODE
Carpenter

Experience: 11 years
Education: B.S. in Business Management/Computer Science
Responsibilities: Interior Finish Products (Cabinets, Doors, Trim, and Custom Built-ins) and Site Supervision.

Fact: Paul was a general contractor and worked at a cabinet shop before transitioning to a finish carpenter at R. Henry. Paul has extensive cabinetry and millwork experience.

What do you enjoy most? "Doing the best job I am capable of doing."

 

MATT WILLIAMS
Carpenter

Experience: 35 years
Education: A.A.S. in Carpentry and Cabinet Making, Faribault AVTI
Responsibilities: Carpentry, Demo, and Framing.

Fact: Matt has widespread construction industry knowledge and experience. Matt is extremely detailed in his work and always keeps the job sites clean.

What do you enjoy most? "A job that is done with perfection."

 

KYLE EDWARDS
Carpenter

Experience: 2 years
Responsibilities: Framing, Siding, and Window/Door Installation.

Fact: Kyle is a quick study and reliable worker. He takes pride in his work and is always striving to learn more about the construction trade.

What do you enjoy most? "The ability to get work done and follow directions."

 

MIKE KROENKE
Carpenter

Experience: 40 years
Responsibilities: General Carpentry.

Fact: Mike has very well rounded experience in the industry and has been a great addition to the R. Henry Construction team. He is able to tackle any project and help out with whatever is needed. His experience and knowledge serves as a great resource for others.
