During this phase we will inform you of the steps involved in the building process. Evaluating your needs and being realistic with the design proposal in the early stages can help avoid any surprises or disappointments. If you already have a set of plans you prefer to use we can assist you with design modifications as well as budget and cost concerns.

Arguably the most important phase in the building process, the design stage will vary widely depending on the amount of research and thought you have already put into the project. During this phase we will be in regular contact with you to ensure that the completed plans are in accordance with your wishes. Regular meetings will be set up with you (or you and your architect) until enough aspects of the design have been determined to produce a completed set of blueprints.

In the early stages of the design process we can provide you with initial cost estimates. Once the design is complete and product selections or allowances determined, we will be able to provide you with a detailed and accurate estimate for the proposed design. This price can be used for financing purposes and obtaining a building permit.

Our construction contract is completed prior to work beginning. The construction contract will define responsibilities and the payment process, as well as establish the initial project timeline. A written construction plan will be provided to you prior to the start of construction.
